Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanese islands of Greece, nicknamed The Island of the Knights, was once the home of the famous Templar knights.
I have visited the island twice... both times I spent a good deal of my time outside the city of Rhodes in the countryside and in Lindos.
The City of Rhodes has an impressive city wall along the harbor.
