travel europe greece the island of rhodes the countryside

I got to experience the countryside of Rhodes both from a bus (1978) and from a motor scooter (1984).
The land was hilly, rock strewn, often dry, but sprinkled with green trees and beautiful white-washed buildings set against bright blue skies.
