travel south pacific new zealand dunedin around the city

Dunedin, called Otepoti in Maori, is the second-largest city on the South Island of New Zealand and is situated at the head of Otago Harbour.
The name Dunedin comes from Dun Eideann, the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capitol of Scottland, from which settlers came in 1848.
The center of Dunedin is called The Octagon where many streets merge at a park surrounded by the City Hall, St. Pauls Cathedral and several shops and restaurants.
Dunedin is the home to the University of Otago, New Zealand's oldest, established in 1869.
