ARCHITECTS: WALTER R WILDER, HARRY K WHITE 1922-28)
When we take a driving break on our way to Seattle, we often stop at the State Capitol in Olympia for a break.
It is placed opposite the State Court Building divided by landscaped roadway.
The more-or-less traditional capitol building is nicely done and accomplishes the typical government goal of
creating an imposing presence that can impress the public with it's grandeur just enough not to be totally intimidating,
but capable of instilling pride in the tax payer.
