travel north america united states hawaii island of oahu waimea valley

Waimea Valley, being an important place in Hawaiian religion, is historically significant area on the North Shore of Oahu.
It is a beautifully landscaped park-like area complete with historical information, botanical gardens, a restaurant, and gift shop.
Lynn and I visited Waimea Falls at the head of the valley in 1983 and parts of other grounds in 2011.
I hope to explore it in more detail on my next trip to Oahu.
