In 1974, I first visited the Schakel Ranch in Fairplay durinig the winter.
Karl Schakel had commissioned me to design proposal for a Rocky Mountain Resort for his real estate company.
I was able to visit the ranch again in 1982 with Pampa Schakel and my new family of Lynn and my son, Wyatt.
This time, we stayed on the ranch and enjoyed some horseback riding... a first time for Wyatt.
