ARCHITECT: CHARLES DEATON (1963)

The Sculptured House by architect Charles Deaton is also known as the Sleeper House because of its appearance in the movie by that name.
The house stands out on the top of Genesee Mountain with views in almost every direction.
In 2009, I took the time to try and visit and photograph this famous house but was unable to really get near it.
Still, even from a distance, it was worth seeing this one of a kind historical architectural statement.
The home is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
