In 1971, I graduated from Cal Poly's College of Architecture and Environmental Design with a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture.
When I arrived there in 1965, the College of Architecture was run by George Hasslein the founder.
It was located in a modern rectangular building surrounding a courtyard where we built a patio for special events.
One of the senior labs, Z Lab, was located in an old wooden army reject building down behind the old library known as the "Jungle." Now, there is a new main building for the college and the old "Jungle," Z Lab, is long gone.
