We have eaten at Casanova three times during visits to Carmel at its location a couple block north of the main street in Carmel.
The interior has both inside and outside covered patio dining... all three times we were seated on the patio.
On our first and last visit, we went for dinner, and on the second visit, lunch.
For lunch, we enjoyed a fire roasted artichoke for an appetizer.
I ordered Osso Buco, veal with polenta, carrot, kale, and gremolata. Lynn kept it light and ordered a Cheese and fruit board selection.
For desert, we shared a couple delicate cannolis.
On the most recent visit, I ordered lamb, Lynn the Fettuccine, my grandson the pappardelle, and our quest the quail.
The restaurant is very popular and thus busy... expect a leisurely meal, well prepared food, and maybe a look at a celebrity or two dining nearby.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, once again,Carmel-expensive, was fresh and well presented...
