ARCHITECT: FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT (1948)
The Mrs. Clinton Walker House, also known as Cabin on the Rocks blends snuggly into a rocky point along Carmel's beachfront.
The home was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1948 and finished in 1951.
This relatively small house is a perfect example of Wright's organic architecture that seems to grow right out of the ground with its accent on horizontal lines.
It has always demanded my attention whenever I visit Carmel.
