travel north america united states california burbank theodore roosevelt elementary

I attended Theodore Roosevelt Elementary from kindergarten through 6th grade before moving on to Luther Burbank Junior High, Burbank.
The campus was located only a long block north of my home and I could walk to school when I was old enough.
Both my mother and my grandmother, who lived with us, were former teachers and almost always had a good relationship with my teachers, especially Miss Knorr, First Grade.
However, I remember that by fifth and six grade I spent a lot of time sitting in the hall.
For several years, after school, I was picked up in a van and taken to Lupo's day care facility on Hollywood Way until my parents could pick me up after work.
