Only certain areas of Inveraray Castle's interior are open to tours on the ground and first levels.
Our tour began in the back of the castle with the State Dining Room and Drawing Room and then went on to the wonderful Armoury Hall.
From there we went through the Saloon Entrance Hall and then upstairs to the Victorian and MacArthur Rooms.
While all the rooms are nicely furnished and "homey," the Armoury Hall was the most fascinating.
