The Royal Danish Playhouse, also known as the National Theater, situated on the harbor in front of the Frederiksstaden neighborhood,
supplements the old venue from 1874 on Kongens Nytorv and the 2004 Copenhagen Opera House which are used for ballet and opera.
It was not open at the time we visited so I did not tour the interior.
