I spotted this architectural landmark on our way to a day of swimming at the Fischlbadsee.
After swimming, I got a chance to enjoy a visit to the site and walk the grounds.
The complex has no signage that I was aware of and I had to go into the lobby to learn it was the Red Bull World Headquarters.
Knowing this, the fantastic sculptures of the charging bulls coming out of the lobby wall on the front facade made sense... that was the signage.
A nice looking young receptionist said I wasn't allowed to photograph the complex interiors, but was welcome to shoot the exterior.
With the gift of a phamphlet on the headquarters, an icy can of red bull, and a cold bottle of water, I did just that.
This complex reminds me of a business "campus" like you might find at Nike or Apple.
Architecturally, it is beautifully designed... from the buildings to the landscaping to the scattered art sculptures.
The huge bronze bulls that charge out of the lobby window and hang over the lake are nothing less than fantastic.
This was the architectural highlight of my month tour of Europe.
