Honeymoon Beach is located on the west coast of Water Island which lies southwest of Charlotte Amalie and can be reached by ferry or through tourist-based tour companies.
The beach is a pleasant enough stretch of sand beach with a roped off swimming area surrounded by a marina.
Lynn and I visited the beach as part of a two-stop cruise ship excursion in 2018, while our son, his wife and son, took a taxi to the ferry and walked "across" the small island to the beach.
In the long run, it wasn't much cheaper to do it that way as compared to our excursion.
In fact, our tour hosts were nice enough to allow my son's family to hitch a ride back to the cruise dock in Charlotte Amalie with us.
Of course, they didn't get any of the rum punch that was available for guests.
Still, I thought it was a nice gesture by the crew of the Virgin Breeze who went out of their way to please their guests.
