Parque del Amor (Love Park), or Albert Amdrade Carmona Park, is a clean and beautiful popular park located on the Cisneros boardwalk along the cliff in Miraflores District overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The mosaic tilework on the garden walls reminded me immediately of Antoni Gaudi's Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain, except that these walls had poems about love in Spanish and Quechua.
The Park's centerpiece is a statue called "the Kiss" by Victor Delfin.
Like many places in the world (Salzburg, Austria and Paris, France, for instance) the fad seems to be for lovers to place a padlock on a convenient fence to signify their endless love.
Inaugurated in February of 1993, the park has since changed it's name (2014) to Parque Alberto Andrader Carmona in honor of the late Lima Mayor.
We were able to visit the park twice in two days, once at sunset.
