Our first visit to Hukilau was in 2019 when my wife and I stopped in for lunch with our granddaughter.
I was hungry for an old favorite, tonkatsu, and it was good... but the other orders were better.
My wife had the pineapple teriyaki chicken and my granddaughter a spicy tuna roll.
The place was clean and casuaul and the service was good.
I returned a second time a few weeks later, dined on the patio, and everything was even better than the first visit.
