Trees along the "The Loneliest Highway in America", highway 50, are few and far between.
This cottonwood tree near Middle Gate, Nevada, is as unusual as it is scarce.
Like the rings in a giant Sequoia, this tree tells a history of those who have come before... and left their shoes.
