The Schilthorn is a 9,744 ft high mountain peak in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland with fantastic views of the Alps and the valley of Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland.
There is a modern gondola lift from the valley floor that can stop in the villages of Gimmelwald and Murren before traveling on to Piz Gloria atop the Schilthorn.
