Murren is an alpine village in the Bernese Highlands of Switzerland high on a bluff above the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
It can be reached by two cable cars from the valley below and a small road that winds up from the back side.
The village is spread out along the top of the high mountain bluff above Lauterbrunnen.
From Murren, you can catch the Shilthornbahn up to the top of the mountain above... or you can hike up if you are feeling adventuresome.
