travel europe italy veneto murano

The isle of Murano is known for its glass works.
In 1978, we visited a Murano glass blowing demonstration in Venice.
When we visited Caracus, Venezuela, we also visited a glassworks where they claimed their artists were trained in Murano.
Other priorities have kept us from exploring the island.
