travel europe greece the island of santorini/thira oia churches of oia
Like Thira, the churches and chapels in Oia are plentiful... one website said there were 70 in the area.
Most of the time it is very difficult to tie the official name of the church to the actual structure.
Other times, one wonders if the structure is still really a church or chapel or just someones residence.
Most web searches either list the churches by name with no picture, or show a picture with labels like "blue domed church."
I need to do some more research on the subject.
