travel europe greece katakolon around katakolon

Katakolon is the gateway port to the ruins at Olympus for cruise ship patrons."
This rather plain little port has oriented it's "downtown" to the tourist trade with a myriad of shops and cafes.
There is a rather long plain beach to the east of town and a smaller, crowded one to the west.
The setting, while pleasant enough because of the sea, is not what I would call dramatic in any way.
