In addition to representative architectural details, I like to collect photos of doors, which I believe often capture the soul of the occupants.

A study in contrasts... the Franjo TuAman Bridge across Rijeka Dubrovacka near the port of Gruz, Dubrovnik, Croatia, 2013.
This beautiful new bridge spans part of the cruise ship docks northwest of town.
One of the smaller cruise ships is actually docked below the bridge.
