My belief that happiness is directly proportional to one's ability to understand, cope with, and have some control over any given situation
leads to my practice to always try to broaden and expand both my own horizons and those of today's youth.
I have worked with both Waldport and Newport High School students and instructors
as a mentor, advisor, and, briefly, as a substitute teacher.
Most of this work as an advisor and mentor has been in architecture, drafting, and construction,
but I have also worked with students with other goals relating to small business development
and individual improvement in math, reading, and philosophy.
