THE PROJECT
To design and build a contemporary 2400 sq.ft. oceanfront home for a retired couple who travelled the country for a year looking for their new dream home.

A long narrow oceanfront site with spectacular views to the west and southwest.

The Virtual Study Model

The exterior has rough-sawn cedar siding and features corner columns of cultured stone.
In order to meet CC&R height limits, the east end of the house is dug into the site and daylights on the west, oceanview side.
The Entrance Patio is located on the north side where it is protected from winter storms.

During construction, Carly decided she wanted a Sauna and the only place it would work was in her Stuldio so we extended a wing wall to accommodate it.
